Use/will use

Hello,

Suppose that after interacting with the people of a small town you have managed to collect a number of original words they use, some that they invented themselves, some that they got from other family members.
Do you think there is a difference in the following descriptions of how a word is used by someone?

a) James uses "reddok" to mean "that guy is itching for a fight".
b) James will use "reddok" to mean "that guy is itching for a fight".

Is b) suggestive of a negative opinion by the writer for the user's choice of word, or of an attitude by the word user in choosing to use a funny word rather than a regolar sentence?
Does b) suggest that the user knows that the word doesn't really exist but he likes to use it anyway?
Anything else?

Thank you for your help
H.

CalifJimPerhaps the use of will suggests something a bit more unusual or remarkable about the behavior than the use of the simple present, but that's just about all there is to it.
Thank you Jim.
I was really grasping at straws trying to put my finger on what I sensed as a slight difference in meaning.
