User do not need to add the....correct the sentence

Which one is grammatical correct and looking more sensible:

User do not need to add the EQPT to the map prior to provisioning a digital link. It automatically gets added to the submap where the managed NE is connected to the EQPT with an IE DL. In case other map window is opened, refresh the screen to see the changes.

When the user provisions a first digital link between a network element and an equipment and becomes 'In-Effect', the equipment automatically gets added to the sub-map where the managed NE is connected to the EQPT with an IE DL.User do not need to explicitly add the EQPT to the map prior to provisioning a digital link. In case other map is opened, refresh the screen to see the changes.

No, "The use does not need to..."

Or, "Users do not need to..."

Anonymous, some of us sleep at night. So when you post at what is midnight for me and then are impatient that you do not have a response before I am even awake, it takes away some of my urge to help. We do this for "fun," remember, so don't be upset that you don't have a response within hours.

Yes, Users do is correct. A user does is correct. Users does is not
