Useful and not useful concept

Im having some problems with this concepts gingerbread can you help me or someone.

Can you give me a example from the ones i posted were the students can understand.

Sentence 1 has some words capitalized. They are clues to the concept that is being taught.

Sentence 2 does not have any words capitalized, so it is difficult to tell what the concept is.

What do you think the concept is in sentence 1?

The first one i think is.

answer maybe : Did he have the exam?

Is this a past event?

Did he go to Cancun?

Is this a future event?

2. The second not sure.

I'm having my car repaired.

Iv just attended a TEFL weekend - this was one of the questions discussed

Well for the first one you must try and figure out i pass exam and did i go go cancun, why did i go to cancun,ect. Get it?

Not sure about second one, just on that myself
