Used to / would ... when...

We __________ tennis every day when we were young.

I think the best answer here is 'would play', but is it true that 'used to play' is wrong here?

Thanks.

Use d to play is excellent. It just doesn't seem to be one of the alternatives. Take a closer look, LiJ!

Hi,
It wouldn't be wrong to simply say 'we played', but that wasn't one of the options offered.
