Used to vs Be

Hi,

Which one is a correct sentence?

1. I used to go in hotel ABC when I was living in XYZ bunglow in New York.

OR

2. I used to go in hotel ABC when I had been living in XYZ bunglow in New York.

OR

3. I used to go in hotel when I used to live in XYZ bunglow in New York.

What is the difference between all these sentences? Which one is correct?

You can use either of these: I used to go to the ABC Hotel when I was living in New York. OR I used to go to the ABC Hotel when I lived in New York. I used to go to the ABC Hotel when I used to live in New York is grammatically correct, but repetitious, so it's not the best choice.
