used it for feedstock

Interviewer: Now you own a huge business of waste vegetable oil. How did you get started?
Entrepreneur: One day, I came across a techology that converts waste vegetable to biodiesel. Immediately, a thought popped into my mind. I went to a local fast food franchise and talked to the manager. Apparently, they were paying for oil collection service which picked up their oil and used it for feedstock. I told him my goal and we struck a good deal.

Are there any mistakes?
Thanks.
