Use SB for DOING sth

Hello, could you tell me if this structure is possible.

I looked it up in Longman on line dictionary and in the Collins but I found no answer. Thank you.

How does this sentence sound to you?

"He used them for begging in the streets"

He was refering to kids.

He used the kids for begging in the streets.

Is the usage fine anyway?
