Use of wake

Hi

I am aware that there are endless discussions on the past and past participle of the verb wake, but I request you to let me know if you as a native speaker find these natural (and completely okay)?

I waked up early today. (instead of woke up)
The sound of that offensive alarm waked my baby.

Thanks,

Tom

PS: After the accident, the road sunk in darkness.
