Hi
Are these sentences OK? Any suggestions are welcome.
The storm unsettled us completely. We were living in different relatives' houses for three months.
The divorce unsettled the children. They were continuously changing cities to be with both parents.
A - Are you happy here?
B- Frankly, no. I still feel very unsettled.
A - Even after one full year?
Thanks,
Tom
In the US today, "unsettled" is typically used in the sense for "upset" or "disrupted," not in the sense of a physical change of locations. In the three given sentences, you're using "unsettled" in the sense of a change of location. They should instead be something like: The storm disrupted our lives completely.

Thanks -- but what would be the typical expression if one felt physically unsettled because of a storm or terrorism?
Let's say a change of two or three places because of extreme terrorism...
We were completely ___________________________ by the increasing terrorism. We changed three houses in 25 days.
[would completely homeless work?]
