Use of unserious

Hi

Do native speakers use the word 'unserious' in everyday English? Would it sound odd in a sentence like this?

We don't rush to the hospital for something as unserious as a mild headache.

Thanks,

Tom

No. In your sentence I'd say you need 'trivial'.

We don't rush to the hospital for something as trivial as a mild headache.
