Hi

Do you find the use of threadbare natural here?

threadbare = extremely minutely

This issue has been debated threadbare.

I think we have analyzed the situation threadbare.
The point has been discussed threadbare

I do not find it natural.

It is not a usage that I have heard much, if at all, but I would accept those sentences. I see it more as meaning "to exhaustion" though.
