Use of Though at the End

Hi Friends

I am confused by use of though at the end of the sentence

like

I know what could be there in the park. I did not go there though.

Can you please explain me why "though at the end ...

Hi there! though = but It is common to use but at the beginning of a sentence, but sometimes we don't want to use but and instead want to add something to the end of our sentence. In this case we use though.
