Use of the word "me" vs "I"

What is the proper pronoun to use when you are referring to yourself amoug a list of others eg, Tom, Dick, and I or Tom, Dick and me?

Top answer

"Me" is gradually replacing "I" in a lot of uses. The best idea, in my opinion, is to say the phrase without the other person's name, and see which sounds right. Subjective case: I went to the movies.
