Use of the word "imbue"

Hi, everyone

Can I say this phrase "the governor's speech to the work union was imbued with a hatred for which the world has no name" ?

I'm interested in whether I put the word "umbue" to use in the correct way.
And second of all, can I use the article "a" the way I have used it in the sentence ?

Many thanks in advance !

Imbue looks fine to me. I would expect "a hatred" rather than just "hatred". Looks fine.

Both the use of "imbue"and the article are clear to me here.

The article makes the hatred sound very strong, as if this kind of hatred is different from or stronger than other types of hatred.

the work union
the union
