Use of the verb follow

Hi there,

I have the following question related to the use of the verb "follow" in intransitive form. Is the following sentence correct.

1. From the existence of the sun it follows life on earth.

I understand that it is correct to write "from the existence of the sun it follows THAT there is life on earth" or " life on earth follows from the existence of the sun".

I look forward to comments.

Thanks, and regards,

Guillermo
