Use of the internet in schools

In some countries, using the internet in schools is getting popular. Is it a positive or negative development?
Admittedly, the use of the internet in educational institutions of some nations is increasing. In my opinion, it is a negative development which can lead to distraction and irreverence for teachers.
One main problem that can arise from using the internet in classrooms is that it can distract students from studies. While browsing the internet, an ample number of advertisements appear on website pages, especially targeted on children, which lure the pupils and shift their focus from academics towards adverts. As a result, instead of gaining knowledge about their discipline, students start exploring about the products displayed in advertisings and this kind of distraction has distributive effects on students' concentration.
Another issue is that the internet can understate the importance of pedagogues. In other words, due to the internet, students at middle or higher levels may not feel the need of teachers as they can learn themselves about their domains without taking aid of educators. Consequently, educatees who think high of teachers may feel their presence redundant, resulting into loss of respect for teachers.
In conclusion, although it has become more popular for schools to utilise the internet, it cam bring about too many problems to be considered a positive development.

Your essay is 201 words long. It does not meet the IELTS essay requirement of a minimum of 250 words, so your essay will not get a good score.

Also, you seemed to have interpreted the topic as allowing free, unlimited web surfing during classroom instruction. Is that a reasonable interpretation of the topic prompt?
