Use of the comma

In writing minutes, a sentence begins, " Membership Chairman _____________ introduced ......"

Does a comma follow Chairman and the name of the chairman as in the following example?

"Membership Chairman, Susan Doe, introduced the members of the committee."

Hi,

It's like saying 'President Barack Obama'. No comma.

But you would say,

The President, Barack Obama, introduced . . .

The Membership Chairman, Fred Smith, introduced . . .
