use of the comma

The warehouse offers good quality accommodation, and has three industrial type roll-a-doors which allow for easy loading and delivery of goods.

Hi Guys,

a) Is the use of the comma before the word "and" correct?

b) Is the use of the word "for" also correct?

Please help.

Thanks

Thanks Mr. M. Please excuse the ignorance. Would you please give an example of 'adding a subject clause'?
