Use of snag

Hi

Is this dialogue natural?

A - How did you get that snag on your T-shirt?

B- I don't know. But can it be mended?

Thanks,

Tom

I would not call that a 'snag'; I use it as a verb: How did you snag your shirt? How did you get that tear/rip in your shirt?
