Use of semicolons

Hi, I was wondering if the use of semicolons in these sentences are correct:

"He was the one who had held the flame; had torched that part of the school."
"She gave him that smile; the one with the twinkling eyes, signalling she awaited more."
"It was dim; deathly dim, with only a deep, golden glow to shimmer upon the tiles."

Thanks in advance for any input.
