Hi, I was wondering if the use of semicolons in these sentences are correct:
"He was the one who had held the flame; had torched that part of the school." "She gave him that smile; the one with the twinkling eyes, signalling she awaited more." "It was dim; deathly dim, with only a deep, golden glow to shimmer upon the tiles."
