Use of 'run out'

Hi

Could you please tell me if the use of 'run out' is natural here?

1) I could see that the fuel/gas/petrol was going to run out soon.

2) We had run out of milk and sugar.

3) The ration was little and was soon going to run out.

Thanks,

Tom
