Use of "Run-down"

Hi

Is the use of run-down natural here?

run-down = very tired or slightly sick/ill -- or so tired that you feel sick/ill

I felt very run-down the next morning.

Thanks,

Tom

PS: Is run-down roughly synonymous to spaced-out?

No. Spaced-out is lightheadedness. Run-down is a bodily condition.

Hi Tom,

I don't think I'd hyphenate it, but yes.

I feel that spaced-out (which I would hyphenate) suggests a dizzy, possibly drugged, condition rather than merely tired or slightly ill. I see it as an induced condition, not natural.
