Use of "in accordance with"
Hey! This is my very first post in this forum. I am very excited that I found this place!!
Here's my sentence from a conclusion of an essay I'm working on:
The simpler, ‘stripped-down’ version of commodity chain is in accordance with how the concept of life is often prescribed.
It sounds right but I'm not sure if it will be interpret as it's meant to be heard. I'm trying to say that they are similar in ways that they are often represented in a much simpler form but in reality it's the total opposite. Maybe you can come up with a better way of saying this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello Jeanius, and welcome to English Forums. To be honest, I have more trouble understanding ' how the concept of life is often prescribed' -- I don't know what that means. Are you sure you mean ' prescribed '?

In a simpler form I'm just trying to say that how 'commodity chain' is described is quite similar to how one might describe what life is about.
For example, I could say that in life, you have to go to school to become educated so you can get a job, and raise a family but in reality it's really not as simple and straight forward as it sounds as there are countless fa

Frankly, Jeanius, I think you are making a mistake in trying for the 5-dollar words. It is not nearly as effective-- or clear-- as the 'simpler form', slightly polished:
