Use of question marks - where to put in a sentence with two questions

Hi - I have two independent clauses joined by a semi-colon. I am not sure where to put the question mark? The sentence reqads: "What is a motorcycle; what is a motor bike, said Jack?" Is the question mark in the right place, or should it be after "childhood" and "youngster"? Thank you for your help
