Use of proclivities

Hi

Is the use of the word proclivities OK in everyday spoken English? Are these natural?

The guy has strange sexual proclivities.

The chief reason for the divorce was her weird proclivities towards sudden outbursts.

...because I have no proclivity towards literature/reading literature.

Thanks,

Tom
