Use of present tense and past tense

Can you please tell me if the sentences below are correct?

I want all data that's why I copied and pasted entire data, but it was not copying and it showed error.

I wanted all data that's why I copied and pasted entire data, but it was not copying and it showed error.

If you still want all the data, then the present is fine. If you are emphasizing that's what you wanted in the past, especially since it serves as a reason for a past activity, then the past is fine. But both sentences are wrong for a lack of articles and using "entire" with a plural noun.

  • I want(ed) all the data that's why I copied and pasted all the data, but it was not copying and it showed an error.
  • Also, I wouldn't repeat "data" twice.

I still want the data so | guess I should use the first one.
