Use of present perfect with certain words/phrases
Hi. Is it always (almost always?) that we have to use the present perfect with the words/phrases like "thus far", "so far" or "yet"?

Please give some examples. I know that "yet" is used with present tense.- "He isn't here yet, we expect him shortly."
