Use of preposition and please check my grammar

Please send me a copy of (a, the) credit card statement for the $1,500 check request. I need this so I would know where to apply the payments when I update my worksheet.

  • I don't think there are a lot of different credit card statements for that exact check request, and I don't think you just want any one of them that happens to be lying around!
