Use of 'onto'?

Hi,

Could you please tell me when to use 'onto'?

Is the use of 'onto' in the following sentence correct?

1. Try to bring visits onto this web page Or it's
2. Try to bring visits to this page?

I'd say Try to bring visitors to this page. com/dictionary/onto Often 'onto' is replaced by 'on' or 'to'. CJ

There are examples of the use of 'onto' here:
