Use of noun "work"?

I am a bit confused with the use of "work" as noun.

It's uncountable and plural noun.

I was busy with some work. Can this sentence be "I was busy with a work"?

Can we say "a good work"? the way we say "a good art"?

Please help me with this.

You can say the first of a piece of art, but you cannot say the second.

Let me try with the word "bread."

Give me a piece of bread.
vs
Give me a bread.

If we say "a bread", is it correct?

Bread is a plural noun. So we can say one bread, two breads?
