Please help me to correct my below paragraph.

I have been watching him since four days, He has been running uphill to reach something, but I never got courage to ask him. He is a diligent worker and I will recommend him for promotion. The whole ethos of my thought is to help someone who really deserves it. I hope that his message of hard work would prevail across whole company.
