Hi. Is it correct to use what I think is a quantifier, "much," in phrases like below, which have plural nouns? Thank you in advance for your help.

No, much won't work. You should use many in those sentences.

You can say, much of his problem with his wife is related to money. ( as a singular reference) Or, many of his problems came from his drug use. (plural reference )
