Use of lifespan

Hi

Could you please tell me if the use of lifespan is OK in these sentences?

Which animal has the longest/shortest lifespan in these rainforests?

Most snakes here have the lifespan about 20 years. (means different species of snakes here...)

Thanks,

Tom

Just a change of article in the second, but the first could benefit from rearrangement: Which animal in these rainforests has the longest/shortest lifespan? Most snakes here have a lifespan about 20 years .

Mr. Tom lifespan about 20 years.
I'd put 'of' after 'lifespan'.
