Use of liaise

Hi

Are these sentences natural English?

The principal felt that the liaison between the school and parents was not strong.
The principal felt that the liaison between the school and parents was way too weak.
The principal wanted to improve the liaison between the school and (the) parents.
The coordinator’s job was to liaise between the students and (the) teachers.

Are these sentences natural English? They are OK. For the first 3, I think it would be more natural to use a term like eg communication eg relationship.
