Use of "just-done dishes"

Is the use of just-done dishes OK/natural?

Although the plates were dirty, they were shining like just-done dishes.

Although the plates were dirty, they were shining like just-washed dishes. It told me how hungry the men had really been. They had literally licked the whole food.
