Use of I am good vs. I am fine

Which is grammatically correct...I always thought food takes good, I am fine...

but just because we know and follow a set of grammar rules, it doesn't mean everyone does.

For example:

Sometimes people say "He looks mighty fine today" (here it means "classy"...which is a dictionary definiton for fine)

Some people have then taken that to be applied to food also
