Use of hyphens to connect words

Hey guys,

We are a company dealing with farmers and like to address them as farmer partners. What would be the right way of writing farmer partners, farmer partners or farmer-partners?

Top answer

fartners (just kidding) That hyphen is used far less in US English than in UK. I would leave it out here in the US. I don't know how it looks to a Brit.
