Use of hyphens

If I have a product that had four uses, would I write "four-in-one" or "four in one"?

When discussing a cell phone feature, would I write "allowing hands-free usage" or "allowing hands free usage"?

Thank you for your assistance.

Hi Nora,

I'd have to see the full sentence to give an opinion on the product, but for the second question, I'd say "hand-free use" with the hyphen and changing "usage" to "use."
