Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

This use of 'hence' as 'from this tme' is in my dictionary. Is it not in yours?

It's not terribly uncommon.

The next Olympic Games will be 4 years hence.

Best wishes, Clive

You can say it, but it sounds very stiff and formal.  I think I've only seen the word "hence" in:
- academic writing

- legal documents

- things written more than 100 years ago.
