Use of Has or Has

Is the the following sentence correct?
The dedication and positive impact you have made has not gone unnoticed.

There's a small problem, because the meaning of "dedication" in this case does not work with the verb "to make." So you can't consider it a compound subject.
You can say, "The dedication you have shown and the impact you hve made have not gone unnoticed."
