Use of 'hang'

Hi

I am sure you have encountered this question many times, but I can't help asking it again (just to ensure I am not making any mistakes using 'hang'.)

Are these sentences fully natural?

  1. There's something wrong with my laptop. It's hanging again and again.
  2. My laptop hung again last night and I failed to download the software.
  3. The download was about to complete when the wretched computer got hung.

Hi Tom

I worked in IT with mainframe computer for 25 years, and we said It hung' all the time, as you have.

But nowadays in the world of personal computers I don't hear anyone say that. I think they say things like It's stopped working or it's broken.
