Use of handsome and smart
hello, I want to know about use of Handsome and smart for both men and women. In my observation Handsome is used for a good looking man, whereas smart is use for a man who is cleaver in his dealing. Smart for women is used for some one good looking. kindly explain what is the right use of these words? regards, tanveer haider

My explanation is for American English. ) Handsome is used to describe men in the same way as beautiful is used to describe women. A handsome woman is one who looks good in spite of her age.
