Use of "gonna"

Weather is so hot, It's going to rain.
This sentence, Can I write In this way e.g.
"Weather is so hot, It's gonna rain.

I am going to wait for Tina, Can i speak This thus "I am gonna wait for Tina."
Can I use "gonna" in talking or totally it should be given up ?

Hi mizansinha007;

There is a name for this non--standard spelling. It is called "Eye dialect" because it spells words (and phrases) the way we hear people say them.(whatcha doin, gimme, youse guys etc.)

Famous authors used eye dialect in writing stories because it made their characters more realistic, that is, speaking their own regional dialect.
