Hi
Is the use of 'get harmed' natural in everyday English?
I hope the children don't get harmed in that silly game.
I am particularly curious as to the first example in frazeit.com

Thanks,
Tom

No. It is people trying to find what they think is a more elegant way to say "get hurt", but it isn't. It just sounds awkward. There are contexts where it is suitable, I guess, but I'd have to judge on a case-by-case basis.

No. This is the first time I've ever seen it. For me, it's "be harmed".
