Use of' further'

Hi,
I have 2 similar sentences stuck in my head , and can't choose the one I want
'this figure is further boosted by spring and autumn migrations'
'this figure is boosted further by spring and autumn migrations'
'the figure' I'm talking about is already large, so which should I use. Also, there is no other effect boosting the number apart from migrations.
thanks
