use of 'for example' and 'thus'
Hi,
Please check if I have used the phrases 'for example' and 'thus' correctly.
I have many options available at this time, for example, doing things with my friends, going swimming with my sister, go see a movie, etc.
Some available how-to-spend-the-afternoon choices, for example, going swimming with my sister, seem not to be a good idea since it will take up too much of my afternoon time, thus, (should I place a comma here??) possibly making me unable to do my science homework; but doing things with my frineds at home like playing table tennis seems to be a good idea since it would likely to leave some time in the afternoon for my homework.
