Use of focus

How can the word focus be used in a plural form sentence. For example: I know we can say my goal is to work hard, and my goals are to work hard and maintain my health.

So can the word focus be used in the same way. For example, my focus is to eat well. But what about if I have two focuses, how can I say my focuses are to exercise hard and eat well. Also two focuses sound wrong to me, so please advice.

I know I can say my focus is to work hard and eat well, but how can focus be used just as my goals are....

Thanks.

Thanks. So focus can't be used like goal, as in my goals are ......
and we can only say my focus is ..... Am I right here?

You can use the verb for multiple targets. Just as a camera can focus on a nearby face, and then a far-away mountain, you can focus on several things in your view, but not all at the same time.

I am currently focused on passing my Quantum Mechanics course, and qualifying for the mogul team for the 2018 winter Olympics.

I see, so it can't be used as my goals are ... But as a singular verb, it can be used for multiple things in its singular form.

Then would it be correct to say: my focus currently is to eat well and exercisehard.

Anonymous my focus currently is to eat well and exercisehard.
But it is a singular noun here:

My focus is my good health, so I eat well and exercise vigorously.
My focus is improving my health, so I eat well and exercise vigorously.

The verb would be this:

I focus on eating well and exercising vigorously.

Thanks. I think I got it. So there is no plural noun for focus as you have mentioned. Right?

And when used as a singular noun, there is only one focus as you have shown?

When used as a verb you can have two things.

Is focus in this sentence considered a noun: my focus is on eating will and exercising. Or is it not possible because I used is?

Anonymous my focus is on eating will and exercising
Focus is a noun in your sentence. It is the subject of the verb "is" and it is modified by the possessive pronoun "my."

By the way, the traditional plural form is irregular: "foci." Some geometric shapes have two foci.

Thanks. So it is not possible when it is a noun. Right?

What is focus here: I want to focus on exercising and eating well. Is focus here a noun or verb?
