Use of drop

Hi

I think it was a story by an Indian author in which I saw the use of drop something like this? Could you please tell me if it works in casual spoken English?

(man talking to his friend on a mobile phone who is on a train)

All you have to do is drop at KBA station. I'll have you picked from there. I have a driver today. Right?

Thanks,

Tom

I suppose it means get off the train, right? I have never heard this use in BrE. Without helpful context I probably would not be sure what it meant.
