I think it was a story by an Indian author in which I saw the use of drop something like this? Could you please tell me if it works in casual spoken English?

All you have to do is drop at KBA station. I'll have you picked from there. I have a driver today. Right?

I suppose it means get off the train, right? I have never heard this use in BrE. Without helpful context I probably would not be sure what it meant.
