Use of credit

Hi

Is the use of credit natural here?

I credited wisdom to her actions. (thought her actions were wise/attributed wisdom to her actions, etc)

I credit him with lots of common sense/I credit a lot of common sense to him.

Thanks,

Tom

Yes, 'credit someone with something' seems to be the only generally accepted structure.
