How you can use the verb could, would & might in spoken english frequently. Kindly explain with examples.

1. In Indirect speech, when we express Future tense in past.
He said that he would also fly kites.
I told him that I would help him.
The teacher said that he would punish the naughty boys.

"would that" is extremely old-fashioned and silly sounding nowadays.
In modern English we say "I wish my neighbors were cooperative."
